US-based businessman enstools Paramount Chief of Awua-Domase

Mr Kofi Martin, a United States-based businessman has been enstooled as the Paramount Chief of Awua-Domase Traditional Area under the stool name Okogyeaman Kwabena Kyere II.
Okogyeaman Kyere II, succeeded his late uncle Nana Kwame Korang VI who died nine years ago after a short illness, rendering the stool vacant.


Nana Kwabena Ofori, the Abakomahene of the Awua-Domase Traditional Council performed traditional rites to seal the enstoolment of the paramount chief, amid dancing and drumming at a colourful ceremony held at Awua-Domase.


Okogyeaman Kyere II, a royal from the KwatireFiem Royal thanked the chiefs and people of the area for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his dedication to serve the people in humility and diligence, promising to spearhead the development of the area.


He called on the people to bury their differences remained formidable and contribute to tackling the emerging development challenges for sustainable development.
Miss Millicent Amankwaa Yeboah, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West and a daughter of the newly enstooled paramount chief also lauded the peaceful enstoolment of her father, and urging the people to come together towards bringing the development of the area to the next level.
