The Ministry of the Interior has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment exercise for Ghana’s internal security agencies, beginning 15th November to 15th December 2025.
The recruitment covers the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service.
According to the Ministry, the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Ghana’s internal security framework, boost public safety, and ensure effective service delivery across all agencies.
The Ministry is seeking disciplined, qualified, and patriotic citizens willing to serve the nation with dedication and integrity.
The statement emphasized that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks.
It also cautioned the public against individuals or groups who may attempt to charge fees or offer recruitment assistance in exchange for money, stressing that the Ministry and its agencies do not charge any fees throughout the process.
Applicants found to have submitted falsified or forged documents, or those engaging middlemen, will be disqualified and may face prosecution.
Further details on the specific requirements, available positions, and the mode of application are expected to be released soon.
The Ministry urged all interested applicants to carefully read instructions and ensure they meet eligibility requirements before applying.
