BECE begins in Sunyani without hitches

The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination commence at some examination centers in the Sunyani municipality on Wednesday without hitches.

During round visits, Sompa FM noticed the candidates were busily answering their questions as examination invigilators monitored them.

Some of the supervisors expressed their satisfaction about the comportment of the candidates and hoped they would continue to with that.

In an interview with Sompa FM, Sampson Gyamfi a supervisor at the Notre

Damme "B" examination center said 256 candidates comprising 102 boys and 154 girls were writing the exams at the center.

Mr Augustine Akidam Augustine, another supervisor at Notre Damme "A" center told Sompa FM that 331 candidates were siting for the exams, saying the center recorded one absentee, a boy who had traveled abroad.

Belinda Twumwaa, a candidate said though she experienced a level of fear initially, she was now confident to write the exams.
