Speaking to Sompa FM in an interview in Sunyani, he said the initiative aligned with the government’s touted 24-hour economy programme, explaining that instead 4pm, the office presently closed at 10pm and delivered quality services to clients.
Mr Okyere said the time extension also aimed at reducing congestion, improving efficiency, and making the DVLA services more accessible to the public, saying that it had further created employment opportunities for the youth, with 24 temporary personnel engaged to support operations.
